Who We Are
Jubaan provides an advanced pre-screening system able to detect early warning signals of Gastrointestinal disorders, specifically the presence of adenomas in the colon. Having studied Microbiomes, specifically those found in the oral cavity and on the tongue, Jubaan, through a non-invasive process, brings to market a practical & intuitive answer in the form of a device called Gixam™ aimed at early-stage pre-screening. More importantly, Gixam™ aims to dramatically improve compliance rates for pre-screening exams. With Gixam™ Jubaan is set to change the manner the prevention battle and control of Colon Cancer is waged.
Christoph Schoess
Mr. Schoess is the co-founder of Heidelberg Engineering GmbH (Germany), a global leader in ophthalmic diagnostic imaging technologies, which he co-founded in 1990. Under his leadership, Heidelberg Engineering grew into a worldwide medical technology company and, in 2024, sold a majority stake (approximately 80%) to EssilorLuxottica Group. Mr. Schoess has been widely recognized for his long-standing contribution to medical technology and innovation.
David Rainis
A serial entrepreneur bringing decades of experience in the deployment of large-scale systems to global markets, with a particular specialization in AI, Deep Learning, DSP, Image Processing and Communications. Throughout David's career he has executed seven exists, the last being the sale of Orpheus Medical to Intuitive Surgical.
Daniel Hofmann
Daniel Hofmann holds a degree in Statistics and Economics and brings over 40 years of entrepreneurial, industrial, and board-level experience. He currently serves as Managing Director of Ampacet Israel Ltd. Previously, he was Chairman of LIAD Weighing and Control Systems prior to its acquisition by Ampacet Corporation. Earlier in his career, he founded Kenitex (1984) Ltd., a company that completed an IPO on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in 1992 and was later acquired by Nirlat. Daniel has also been an active investor, founder, and board member in multiple technology and medical device companies, including Orpheus Medical, which was acquired by Intuitive Surgical in 2020.
Kfir Azoulay
Kfir Azoulay currently serves as Managing Director at Heidelberg Engineering and brings over 25 years of global experience in the medical technology sector. His track record spans general management, marketing, business development, corporate strategy, and commercial execution across both publicly traded and privately held companies. He contributes deep domain expertise in ophthalmology, including diagnostics, therapeutics, clinical workflows, and health economics — areas closely aligned with Jubaan's mission to transform diagnostic pathways. In addition to his executive roles, Kfir serves on the boards of multiple medical companies, providing governance, strategic oversight, and industry connectivity.
